HTX Honeys is a vibrant social club dedicated to bringing women together through curated events at Houston’s most popular spots. Our mission is to foster genuine connections, celebrate sisterhood, and create a welcoming community where friendships flourish.
Our Founder
Sabree Cotton
Founder, HTX Honeys
Meet Sabree Cotton, the inspiring founder of HTX Honeys. A proud Milwaukee native, Sabree relocated to Cypress, TX in 2021 with her husband and two daughters, arriving with only a handful of distant relatives and no close friends. The isolation of those early days was challenging—she often thought, "I need friends... BAD!"
It was during that time that Sabree discovered her passion for wellness and self-care, leading her to open Eminence Spa and Retreat. After establishing the spa, she began seeking meaningful connections by attending local networking events. While some experiences were more positive than others, each encounter helped shape her vision.
Taking all she learned to heart, Sabree founded HTX Honeys in May 2024 to create a community where professional women can forge genuine friendships. The journey began with a memorable happy hour at Willie G's on June 24th, and from there, HTX Honeys has grown into a vibrant and supportive network.
Sabree’s story is a testament to resilience, passion, and the transformative power of community.
Our Community Director
Deidra Whitfield
Community Director, HTX Honeys
Deidra Whitfield is a proud Houston native who now calls The Woodlands home, where she enjoys life as a devoted mom to her son. A board‑certified RN with more than a decade of experience in cardiology and neurology, Deidra has built her career on compassion, advocacy, and empowering others. Her passion for teaching individuals how to care for their mental, physical, and spiritual well‑being inspired her to launch Navigation Health Services — a growing venture dedicated to helping people confidently navigate today’s complex healthcare system.
Balancing a demanding career taught Deidra early on the importance of prioritizing wellness and community. After discovering Sabree’s project on Instagram, she joined the Honeys for a Sunday morning homeless outreach event in the August heat — and from that moment, she was all in. The experience resonated deeply with her belief that true community is about more than connection; it’s about collective growth, service, and spreading positivity.
Deidra brings her heart for people, her commitment to equity, and her passion for uplifting women. She continues to show up, give back, and help create spaces where the Honeys can thrive together — because for her, there’s no better way to build community than by serving with purpose and joy.
